The agenda included the presentation of the latest achievements of the city in tourism development, including industrial one, discussion of future plans and practical familiarity with touristic Kryvyi Rih within the excursions.

The meeting was opened by Deputy Mayor Valentina Berlin who briefly described the results of the tourism implementation in 2015, notably development of 45 routes, holding 1,500 excursions with participation not only of the Kryvyi Rih but also visitors from other cities of Ukraine and foreigners, as well as implementation of promotional events - First Ukrainian Forum "Industrial tourism: the best practices for the effective development of the territories" and others.

Development of tourism is not provided not only by local authorities, PU 'Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution", historians and guides, but also the industrial enterprises the most active of which were awarded with solemn gratitude - PJSC "Southern Mining and Concentration Complex", "Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore", "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih","Central Mining and Concentration Complex".

Some memorable gifts were also given to guides who during the past year regularly conducted excursions and introduced new routes – Anton Kilimchuk and Gleb Kozlov.

In their reports, the representatives of industrial enterprises presented the mechanisms of tourism implementation at the enterprises, and also voiced plans for the future.

Thus, a spokesman for JSC "South Mining and Concentration Complex" Minyushkin Maxim said that on this basis of his company a newly created Museum has been functioning for six months and has already been visited by about 5,000 visitors and hit them by a unique combination of modern technology and ancient artifacts. Currently, the company is considering a possibility of launching a new tourist proposal under the career visiting – going to horizon of -180-210 m.

Kotovych Vasylyna, head of the youth committee of JSC "Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Plant," informed the participants about continuation of excursions activities on the enterprise to the mine – both to the underground part and the ground (headframe), as well as to a training and course division where anyone can try himself as a miner.

Natalia Renkas, the representative of JSC "ArcelorMittal Kyvyi Rih" reported that the company is going to introduce a new section on the basis of their museum - "Our pride" and launch a website on a relevant topic.

It was also represented Kryvyi Rih potential for tourism development in comparison with the world and European experience. So, Patsiuk Victoria, assistant professor of physical geography, local history and tourism of Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical Institute SHEE "KNU" noted that the biggest advantage of Kryvyi Rih - is the presence of active industry with working powerful enterprises which demonstrate a complete cycle of mining and metallurgical industry - from mining of iron ore to finished production.

The most interesting part of the celebration was the excursion to PJSC "Southern Mining Processing Plant", namely the museum and quarry of the enterprise. Many tourists visited these objects for the first time and were deeply impressed by the incredible extent of the quarry where the giant BelAZes seemed to be like insects and career horizons - small ledges in earthen funnel.

Particularly fascinating was a visit to the museum, where the visitors saw the spectacular 3-D model of a career and a video installation of its work online. Everything amazed – both modern technologies and the history of the plant, filled with the spirit of dedicated staff.

The next day, the celebration continued with interesting excursion "Old New city" for all interested. Those who wished to learn more about the history and present times of Kyvyi Rih turned out to be a lot - more than 130 people, that indicates a great interest of Kryvyi Rih residents to know their hometown.

The excursion was conducted by known historians of the city – Kazakov Volodymyr and Kilimchuk Anton.

Dividing the participants into 2 groups, they made a journey through the old part of the city (from Karl Marx Avenue).

The City history is revealed in the names and photographs of old streets, buildings which disappeared from the map of Kryvyi Rih, photographs of famous people, modern and old preserved buildings. Like a red thread through the whole route was the history of events in the city since 1761, when it was built the first St. Nicholas Church and all the historical changes that have changed the face of the old city to the present. Tourists learned about the history of the city, meaning of the names toponym "Kryvyi Rih", way of living of the population in different historical periods.

Present Kryvyi Rih was represented by new monuments and memorable signs, new buildings, lit fountain, Art-square, chess club.

Overall, the excursion despite a huge number of participants and cold weather was interesting and exciting for all the tourists. Evidence of this are feedbacks in social networks.

Summing up this year's celebration of the International Tourist Guide Day, we can see a broader scale of the event and more people involved in the one.

Thus, Kryvyi Rih tourism continues to grow and increase its capacity, including human resources.
